Car starts right up no problem. However it is missing timing belt and needs a new ignition switch. Easy fixes for a cheap car.

He knows that rolling it down a hill in neutral isn't the same as actually running the engine, right?

Oh yeah, Hondas  can totally run without timing belts, they’re just that reliable. Valves? Pfft. Who needs ‘em? And ignition switches are for pansies who can’t hotwire!

Honda’s have hydraulic timing belts, that rubber one is just for show on exposed cam gear engines.

If it’s running, they definitely don’t mean timing belt if i t’s actually missing. And if it is the timing belt that’s actually missing, they definitely don’t mean it starts right up. Cranks the pistons into the valves perhaps, but starting right up not so much.

LOL this could have been a quote straight out of The Fast and the Furious . It ranks right up there with  “danger to manifold”.

I saw an ad on Craigslist for a ‘70 Beetle that advertised “very solid, no rust” and asked if he could confirm that the heater channels and floors were solid before I drove 2 hours to look at it. The response was  that the pans do have “some rust” but “it can be repaired”. People don’t know what words mean, our educational system is a mess.

Exactly. You know that, and I know that, but somebody out there is playing themselves, because they don't know that.
